City staff will process the building permit application and required documents into the City of McAllen permitting software, Accela Automation, for concurrent plan review.
The processed application is routed electronically to the required departments for plan review. When a project is submitted for permitting, City staff reviews the project for conformance with the International Building Codes , City policies, and with State Regulations.
You may contact the applicable departments for additional information. The departments required to review you applications will be determined by the proposed project.
