This is the last step in obtaining a building permit for building/construction.  For your permit or approval to be issued, all requirements from the previous steps must be satisfied.

To obtain the building permit, stop by the Building Permits and Inspections Department at 311 N. 15th Street.  You will be asked to sign the required building permit conditions, acknowledging the required conditions for permit approval and pay the required fees.

After the building permit is issued, the subcontractors (electrical contractor, mechanical contractor and plumbing contractor) may obtain the required sub-permits.  The sub-permits are required to be obtained by licensed subcontractors.

Subcontractor permits for electrical, mechanical and plumbing may be obtained via web through our Online Permit Portal

No work may commence if a permit has not been obtained.
